Pexip Joins Quicklaunch Solution Provider Program for Collaboration Platforms

Calgary, Alberta –March 27, 2017 – Today Pexip®, an award-winning vendor of video conferencing and collaboration technology, and UC Workspace, a leading provider of next-generation meeting room solutions, announce that Pexip has joined the Quicklaunch Solution Partner Program (QSPP) as a Collaboration Platform Provider. QSPP provides a unique framework for delivering multiplatform collaboration experiences across customer environments.

Every version of Quicklaunch allows customers to add Pexip as an "Action Tile"

The Quicklaunch™ application is a meeting room interface that provides multi-platform integration to transform any PC into an easy to use one click meeting space. Quicklaunch was designed to streamline and enhance the complicated collaboration experience and improve productivity during every phase of a meeting. It provides the simplicity and security of a meeting room appliance with the power and flexibility of the PC. It is everything you need for end-to-end better meetings in one application.

“Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for users to join a video conference with an enhanced end-to-end meeting experience,” said Angela Hlavka, Founder and Principal of UC Workspace. “Partnering with Pexip provides users the ability to utilize the power of Pexip with one touch join from Quicklaunch. Additionally, for administrators it is easy to setup and maintain.”

Pexip’s Infinity meeting platform provides organizations with unlimited capacity for video, audio, and web conferencing across traditionally incompatible technologies. It seamlessly combines legacy video conferencing, Microsoft® Skype® for Business, WebRTC for browser-based video, and standard phone callers in joint meetings. Enterprises use Pexip Infinity because of its interoperability capabilities, scalability, and simplicity – providing ease of deployment, management, and use.

Single Touch Join from the Calendar in Both Professional and Ultimate Editions

With the Quicklaunch integration, users can join Pexip meetings with a single click or touch of a button as they enter the meeting room. With the basic version, a simple Pexip Action Tile is added to the Quicklaunch screen. Clicking the tile invokes a Pexip meeting. The Professional and Ultimate versions of Quicklaunch integrate with existing calendars to display scheduled meetings on the meeting room display, making it even easier to join the meeting.

“At Pexip, we embrace every bit of innovation and technology that makes virtual meetings easier to join” said Jordan Owens, Pexip VP, Americas. “The Quicklaunch application ticks just those boxes – it simplifies the process users go through to join meetings. In the end – easy-to-join meetings drives adoption, happy users, and ultimately, increased productivity.”
